Sorry to hear about everyone's troubles due to late coaches, but you could have avoided missing flights by sharing a car rental or booking your return flights for Tuesday. I'm so glad the coach tickets sold out, since sharing a car rental turned out to be an easier, cheaper, and more comfortable way...

Does anyone have two extra London to BLOC return coach tickets that would be willing to transfer them to new names? All coach tickets appear to be sold out on the site. Taking the train is quite a bit more expensive. :cry: Alternatively, is anyone driving from London with space for two more people, ...

Yes, I'm coming from the states and don't really feel like packing a lot of clothes. Checking luggage on airplanes is expensive and hauling it around airports and on buses is inconvenient.

Laundry rooms at Butlins?

Just to verify... are there some coin-operated machines for washing and drying clothing?

Last year in Hemsby the one laundry room was taken over by medical personnel and we weren't allowed to use it.

Yeah I saw those reviews, but most BLOCcers won't even be able to tell if they're vomiting from the food, the excessive alcohol, or excitement over seeing Aphex Twin. :P

Someone at the BLOC office said (by phone) last weekend that there would not be any more big announcements.

But even if nothing in the lineup changes before the event, it's still amazing!

i guess i'm mostly worried about all the reviews that mention food poisoning. i'll probably go the way i did in asia then -- bottled water for everything and only eat freshly-cooked food. at least i'll be in a self-catered; the rest of the eats will be from the mini supermarket! Definitely, bottled...
