Back on 105.1FM and broadcasting from October 23rd - November 19th the new timetable has plenty to offer with a selection of new shows and the return of some familiar voices. Our Autumn license should be our last temporary broadcast before we begin work on preparing to launch Future Radio on a full time basis. Early expectations are that the station will begin broadcasting full time late in 2006 - but in the meantime let's look forward to another great mixture of programmes in the usual Future Radio style!
We have a weekly uncollected show running on Thursday nights from 9pm --> 11pm, so be sure to tune into that. Loads of other good things going on aswell, you can download a timetable from the FutureFM website...
Also... check out 'Daydream Nation' after the Uncollected show (11pm-midnight) which will be playing a selection of electronica and minimal house/techno + other stuff.
The show on 3rd November will have an interview with Slam (positive education, Soma records etc) and will be giving away a couple of copies of their new mix CD 'nightdrives' - a double CD which is top notch! Featuring tracks by Mathew Jonson, Nathan Fake, Model 500 and Slam themselves.
Tonight on future radio, we've got something a little bit special. We're going to be showcasing a selection of tracks from our uncollected records demo bag and friends of.
From as far as Balitmore to all the way in cosy Norwich there is an eclectic mix of electronic sounds to check out. We'll also be looking for feedback to find out what rocked your socks and if anything didn't tickle your fancy. It's all about making you, the listener, happy and warm inside.
Tune in tonight from 9 to postulate with us and enjoy a piece of electronica pie.
