Possibility of a reviews forum?

Post by The A.V.ologist »

I think it would be a good idea to have a forum for reviews of music, films etc. Does anyone agree?

Its a simple enough thing to implement, but will anyone use it?

We already have one dead forum sitting there, bloody lazy graffers.

Maybe if the moderators were to encourage it with their own reviews? Also few people graf but seemingly many people like to express their point of view through this site. Maybe if you appointed somebody as a reviewer it would help. I'd be willing to review tunes that people recommended and could send an MP3 to me. Maybe people could put up their point of views and could individually rate each item being reviewed?

Yeah, I can see this working, if people were to take an active role in expressing their opinions. I could set up a board for a trial period and see how it goes if the interest is there.

why don't I start off by telling this joke and you could all review it for me:

did you hear about the guy who achieved his life-long dream of getting run over by a steam engine?

he was chuffed to bits.

I did actually laugh, so I would give it 4/5 Thomas the Tank Engines.

It seems as though there may be enough support to get the new section off the ground, but now the hard bit. We must decide on a name for this new addition and I think it should be something a wee bit more exciting than "Music Reviews". So let's 'ave it...

why must you always be reviewing music?

If you're being chased by a police dog, try not to go through a tunnel, then on to a little seesaw, then jump through a hoop of fire. They're trained for that.

should I give up the day job? yes/no (tick box)
