WANG - New Years Eve

Post by MikeTheBarber »

Theres not much on thier site about this yet but I think its still going ahead. I've been told its gonna be held in an ex-embassy (sierra leone) Which could make a great venue

Dunno about acts confirmed or anything either but WANG are normally able to pull in some top stuff

Anyone up for this? New years has been a shit let down in some crap party in norwich for the last few year for me so it would be good to break the cycle

Anyone know/find anymore info?

yo

WANG NYE is still under wraps ------> however it will be stuffed with new year's surprises including a BaseLogic back room launching the 'Medicine Gun EP', a five track split between Paul Blackford and Ed Chamberlain and coincidentally the first BaseLogic vinyl. BaseLogic line-up will feauture Synapse, Paul Blackford, Ed Chamberlain + a few rotten surprises

oh, and a BaseLogic after party...

there is an excellent new venue planned... nothing is confirmed so its all under wraps. We can also promise an EXTRA SPECIAL live headline act for the main room and full on baselogic assault squad in room 2 including paul blackford ed and synapse launching the record label...
full venue details and lineup will follow imminently
it's going to be ace, thoroughly recommend all norfolk peeps get on the train.

Sounds excellent. I hope to be there, it'd be great to get a big ole' Narfolk representation there.

Tickets are £15 apparently, and it'll be rockin' from 8pm till 5.30am.

There have been a few venue changes for NYE, its now going to be in a MASSIVE 800 capacity warehouse in east London. This means we've lost our room which is a bit of a pain in the ass BUT some of us will be playing in the main wang room on a massive sound system alongside some proper legends. still can't reveal lineup but it is absolutely amazing.. some of the biggest names in electronic music from the last decade will be playing. see you there!

Hello WANGers
Just a quick mail to say that if you want to buy tickets online, today or tommorow are your last days as ticketweb take the event off a week before so as to allow 6-7 working days for delivery.
The link is:

Already picked mine up, but people thinking of going better get their skates on.
