Lineup so far for 2011
Lineup so far for 2011
I have to say it. To me :
LFO / Moderat / Vitalic / Visionquest feat. Seth Troxler / Claude Von Stroke / Joy Orbison / Digital Mystikz / Beardyman / Dopplereffekt / Black Devil Disco Club
Is definitely a good start. I can't wait to hear more. Bring on the next Bloc

Agree. This is looking far more punchy than last year so far. Let's rave.

Re: Lineup so far for 2010
Greetings Bloc family,
In March 2011 we will celebrate the first five years of the life-changing BLOC festival and we are bursting out of our brains in a giddy blast of thrill to announce to you all that the most important BLOC festival there has ever been is launched. As a teaser of what is to come, here are the first 10 acts announced:
LFO / Moderat / Vitalic / Joy Orbison / Seth Troxler / Claude Von Stroke / Digital Mystikz / Beardyman / Dopplereffekt / Black Devil Disco Club
Many more TBA at http://www.blocweekend.com
Re: Lineup so far for 2010
LFO stand out and the likes of Joy Orbison / Digital Mystikz / Beardyman / Dopplereffekt are decent too but the consensus among anybody I've talked to about it is that it's all a little underwhelming so far.
Of course being only the first 10 names, I'm confident that the ratio of quality acts will improve. Bloc certainly doesn't need to water itself down for mass appeal with the likes of vitalic and claude von joke.

Where are the big hitters? Not the big impact like the initial announcement last year.....

If that means no Grandmaster Flash and Salt N Pepa, surely that can only be a good thing.freshjive wrote:Where are the big hitters? Not the big impact like the initial announcement last year.....
