Electronica Night back @ Bedfords

Post by Chalet Ed »

Just in case you crazy fools didn't know - the mighty electronica night has returned to The Crypt @ Bedfords every 1st Thursday of the month. The trusted Chalet boys johnny and Mikey will be on the wheels of steel with regular special guests (i.e their mates) coming at ya with a barrage of bleeps and bass. And you know the best part - it's free! Now where else do you see such genorosity in this modern world?

see ya there

Nice one!
I will be cruising down to check this out in two weeks time.

Are you going to have it outdoors on the benches if the English summer weather permits or will it be in the dark depths of THE CRYPT?

I popped in right at the end of this july's one, seemed alright from the 15 mins i was there for, sadly it conflicts with Delinquent Beats down at the fugitive which a couple of scoundrels from around here put on, but then again thats every thursday and this is only once a month so I guess its worth the sacrifice

Shame about the clash - I've never cheked out the fugitive on a Thursday, does it get the thumbs up? I'll have to pop down some day soon.

Not sure if they'll be having outside - i presume so if the weathers hot hot hot. To be honest I have nothing to do with the organisation of it! But i know the reason they got stopped last time was beause of the noise levels so outside broadcasts may not be possible....

Yes, Deli beats is very good fun. Good choice of beats often played and a good crowd. They often do a warm-up session for uncollected before we have a show if it happens to be on a Thursday.

Bummer about the outside situation but I can understand with the noise levels, you got mad crazy visuals again?

Electronica Night- happening on thursday 5th August

Post by herod »

Yes, we're back. Guess I should have posted something up sooner- but organisation has never been our strong suit in eN world! :?
Thanks for the big-up Chalet Ed in the interim.

We are moving to fortnightly from now on (so it's thursday 5th & 19th August, then 2nd September.)

Yes- DanVisuals of ObsoleteVisuals is on super8 duties. The sweating-est man in visual production. Bloke's a god-damn genius.

DJs will be Jonny Megabyte, Jonny, Mikey & DJ Puppy.

Last time we packed it in because we fell out with the Neanderthal bar manager, who asked me to stop playing but then, I, er, didn't. But they've got a nice new bar manager called Fiona now, so we are all special super treat friends again now.

Anyways- hope to see you down there if you can make it...

I bumped into George flyering for Si Begg last night so I wouldn't be surprised if there was some Baselogic reppin' at EN.
