Miami Vice Fancy Dress

I don't think anyone's mentioned how few bloccers were dressed for the part on sunday, compared to the Sunday Best theme last year. Me and a couple of pals joined in and had a right laff (you might have seen us with Aphex masks to boot later on in the main arena)

I can think of two reasons for this, first the theme was announced quite late so I'd imagine getting white suits etc. for some might have been hard work to sort in a couple of weeks. Also, the theme was admittedly too narrow, I was hoping for a broader theme like 80s or summet.

That said, what shall we be next year? I'm thinking along the lines of famous movie characters...

those aphex masks freaked the shit out of me

i was dancing away minding my own business and then got a strange feeling that i was been watched, look slightly to my right and there's a group of richies staring at me

I saw quite a few people dressed up. Our group went for a more 80's theme as suggested on this forum as us females didn't fancy wearing bikinis a la miami vice. Our guys were in miami vice/magnum PI type outfits though.

Managed a tweed jacket with sleeves rolled up, pink shirt and aviator glasses and aquired a hat from somewhere, but didnt see many others dressed up. sunday best last year was def the best.
