In a bassy club environment, on a muddy field or on top of a tower of crates at a squat party, turntable instability can really cause some problems. Skipping, unclean sound just makes things nasty.
Other solutions have been oooookayyyyy, but apparently (I have not tried it myself) freefloat really does the job. Like lil airplane inflatable neckrests for your decks, they'll keep them steady come earthquake or nearby nuclear bomb.
(They even like to paddle on the beach at sunset?!)

Yeah, that's what I thought, I have not seen anyone say anything about scratching on those bad boys. I think to compensate the height, they would either lower the place where the decks go, or raise the mixer to get them a cumfy level.
And they're not just blow up plastic things. They are orange blow up plastic things.
i reckon they must be quite secure or else theresno point, lets buy some and test them. you know how the band kept playing while the titanic sank? we all know now that the music from the turntables would last longer, anyone got dying sealion, i mean celine dion, on record?
