Turntable instability woes

Post by james »

In a bassy club environment, on a muddy field or on top of a tower of crates at a squat party, turntable instability can really cause some problems. Skipping, unclean sound just makes things nasty.

Other solutions have been oooookayyyyy, but apparently (I have not tried it myself) freefloat really does the job. Like lil airplane inflatable neckrests for your decks, they'll keep them steady come earthquake or nearby nuclear bomb.

(They even like to paddle on the beach at sunset?!)

They would be good for 'mix' djing but shurley is you were scratchin it tup they would wobble like hell plus it puts them like 5 inches above the mixer?
£10 does sound like a good price though but they are just blow up plastic things.

Yeah, that's what I thought, I have not seen anyone say anything about scratching on those bad boys. I think to compensate the height, they would either lower the place where the decks go, or raise the mixer to get them a cumfy level.

And they're not just blow up plastic things. They are orange blow up plastic things.

Can we never talk of Celine Dion again please. It brings a tear to my eye in the way that's not related to joy at all.
