Bloc buses from London full: Anyone have space for 2?

Post by altheus »

Hey, unfortunately all the Bloc buses are full, so in order to skip the £76 train fares, I'd much rather put some cash into the back pocket of someone with some spare space headin to bloc, or willing to hire a minibus of some description?

We're a boy and girl (22) from Dublin and Galway respectively, in a bit a rut at the moment, so any help/advice/offer would be great.

Thanks folks,

Andy

dude, the train is not 76 quid

an open return which you buy on the day from london to yarmouty is only £39 return (except at peak times)

or.. if you call one railways on 08456007245 they'll sort you a cheap adavnce ticket - can be as little as £6 each way

sorry the buses filled up, we got 3 booked them the firm ran out of coaches so we couldn't get any more

see you there!

the snag with the £6 ones is that you have to book them by 6pm the night before and you have to stick to the times it says on the ticket or they fine you (like easyjet)

bloody stupid system if you ask me, they should just even out the prices to something reaonable like it is in europe.

don't forget to avoid travelling at rush hour cos tickets are £120 then.

So, anything between £6 - £120 for the same journey. The marvels of a privatised rail network
