searching car-pooling from London..

Post by hogstrom »

hi Bass people :)

We are 2 french people : 29 and 34 from Bordeaux, both electronic’s addicts. I work in an organic food and ecologic stuff shop and my boyfriend is a professional painter and graffiti writer.

We are looking for someone who would be ok to take us from London Gloucester Place at 06:30 pm, and eventually back to London on monday morning to be at London at 10 am.... cause if we take the train it's gonna be lots of time and very expensive..

off course we share your petrol fees

cheers

If you dont manage to find a lift try to book early and you can get the train to norwich for £6 each way or get the bus for £1 each.......Not that expensive if you book early....Prolly cheaper than petrol

I only found this fares £84 (for 2 people return London Great Yarmouth) there is cheaper but not for my times.. and it's not very fast because it makes me arrive at Great Yarmouth only at 10:11 pm..

and £150 with Virgin.. :derp:

try: www.thetrainline.com

It probably won't give you much different in terms of cost. The problem is if you can only travel at such a specific time then there isn't too much you can do about it. You could try hiding in the train toilets until you get to norwich.....

On a more useful note - what about paying a fee to change your flights to earlier in the day? You might find that the cost of that works out less than the extra money you have to pay for travelling so late on the train? Plus you would arrive at bloc earlier and have a less stressfull start to the weekend! Just a suggestion likes
