Who are you looking forward to seeing the most?

Post by james »

OK I am going to attempt this even those it may be futile due to the killer lineup, but here goes...

Bassbloc arena
On the hip-hop tip Kool Keith and Paris based french hip-hop group TTC are going to be amazing. Saw TTC in Paris aboard a boat and it was an great show, and the sex-stylist I have yet to see. Can't wait.

Techbloc arena
Marco Passarani will be lush. Cursor miner will bang it. Luke slater will kill it...

Shashbloc arena
I love the UK Bass Wide guys, they're all going to test the subs. Got a special place in my heart for Vector Lovers and the good ole' boys Ed Chamerblain and Synapse will keep us all firmly on the tips of our toes.

Now I've delivered my spiel let's hear yours.

Who are you polishing your dancing shoes most to impress? Which individual is stoking your bloc party fire the hardest?

Main artists that stand out for me are Robert Hood and Surgeon!

I've got loads I want to see though such as Rhythm & Sound, Congo Natty, Mike Dred to name but a few.

Wonder who that mysterious guest is gonna be......

Kronos Device, DMX Crew, Newcleus, The Advent, Rob Hall, ADJ and Pathic

That's what I'm going to build my weekend around. Hopefully none of those acts over-lap one another and I can see them all. The rest of the weekend I'll play it by ear.

I'm looking forward mainly to my debuts with Autechre, Two Lone Swordsmen and Billy Nasty, plus eagerly anticipating a reunion with CJ Bolland (not seen him since the Orbit so will be moshin' it Morley-style!) and Tim Exile who's a proper nutter (saw him in Leeds, was doing live sound modulation using a joystick strapped to his groin)
