this monday!! >>>HEADFIRST the last 2 floor take ov

Post by harrywiles »

the non profit revolution continues...

2 floors
upstairs: electronica>>>future dub>>>electro>>>breakbeat
downstairs: reggae>>>ska>>>soul

doubled soundsytems

only £2 entry // all proceeds to charity

There are too many nights which are all the same, especially now No Confrontation seems to have ripped mine off. Headfirst aims to pursue the difference and make each night a bit different. This month will have a little more breaks for the purists, i wont be getting angry and belting out so much techno. Special guest spunkfiend downstairs this week with some dusty old soul&funk.

get flash 8 and check out the website.
get in for free.

does seem that the genre list on every flyer i've picked up lately reads the same.
i'll be checkin this out though, a good soundsystem always draws me in. Geekmode-what is it?

I'm looking forward to my first headfirst night. The deli beats to headfirst combo seems like a definite winner.

what a fun night. Went down after work to be greated by two floors of nice sounds and systems, and a ton of people i knew.
Well worth going again, any news on how regular these nights are or are going to be?

thanks to everyone who came, was probably my favourite one so far -

Headfirst is now a twice monthly night,

imagine monday split into 2. I now have one downstairs only gig and one upstairs only gig. With both floors following the same principles they have in the past. So one organic night and one elctronic.

There will still be the same sound and light enhancements, all for the bragain fee of £1.50 !!!

ALL headfirst proceeds now go to Cancer Research UK.

there's more info (dates, photos etc) on the website which is work in progress but still rather nice.

thanks again,
