i'm playing at this and the promoter has decided, as an experiment, to make the night non smoking. the gig is on the underground floor, you can smoke upstairs in the bar. would this put you off coming???

If you make it good for like 20 minutes, then rubbish while I smoke upstairs, and then good again when i come back, then repeat that for the rest of the night, it shouldn't be a problem.

(please don't give me an F for that horrible run on sentence).

Wouldn't put me off so much, may just find myself lighting one without noticing before I got stamped on by security. Out of interest why have you opted for the no smoking policy or is it the venue?

its the guy whoes promoting it. its not set in stone, just an experiment. basically he's got loads of mates who are non smokers so he thought he'd give it a go. loads of smoker have gone "arh for fuck sakes what all this you pussies" but they generally do. the people who don't mind usually don't start threatening to kick your head in

I'm surprised people get that riled about it. Maybe someone should remind them that if they don't like it they don't have to go to the show.

i like smoking...............a lot!
I wouldn't think it would be too much of a problem, but i would be going up and down the stairs so many times i would miss half the show due to it.

Any one got any patches?

Can I still shoot up crack and snort glue?

I hope that policy isn't banned yet.
