Just found out he died in leeds infirmary after getting pneumonia a month ago and was recovering but died.........Pretty shit way to die for such a great man....Rest in Peace Rich!

You just imagin anyone but the great whiteley hosting it!

It would be shit!

Whiteley was keeping that 'quiz' show from becoming like every other one. They all try and build so much fucking pointless tension, when there is actually very little content. Countdown never gave in!
