KNIFEHANDCHOP for Norwich 7/10/04

Post by matthew slow »

yes! we at Slow Magazine can finally confirm that we have booked that KNIFEHANDCHOP for the date we wanted him for all along!

Thursday 7th October upstairs at the Waterfront, Norwich.
£5 on the door - dancing from 8pm - midnight.

support from local boy made beats SCSI and some experimental (ie. totally unrehearsed) acid techno from CANADIA, along with the charity shop-rocking beats of the Slow Magazine DJ Display Team.

(just be careful where you go when you turn up - there's a Led Zep tribute band downstairs)

info eventually at www.slowmagazine.com

for Mike - 8-12 is cheaper to hire, and in our experience people don't like 10-2 so much on a school night. We'd much rather spend our euros on the talent than the venue. Can you still come? He'll be on by 11.

for sEtwin - it's easy - come to Norwich on 20/9 to see Snares, come to Norwich on 7/10 to see Mr Choppy.

for you all - come to Norwich on 22/9 to see MORTIIS - cower in fear as the man with a scary goblin face'o'plasticene realises that he's been booked to play in a church and yet burning it down is strictly FORBIDDEN!!

just to remind you all that tomorrow is the night for the electro-deathmarch stylings of Mr Knifehandchop upstairs at the Waterfront.

for those of you that need to know, Knifey will be on stage at 11ish so you can still go to eN for the first part of the evening if you so wish, or watch our supporting artistes, it's up to you.

oi, sintec! bring your record stall!

Good luck with this guys, I've gotta wait a little longer to see Knifey in Brighton with Shitmat.

Any plans for Slow Mag events in Dec/Jan period? I'll be returning to the motherland around then.

Not yet - we have to get our act together... although I'd like to find time to sort something out for around then.

How---hoo-hooooowwwwwwwwwl!

That was fun, big up to the Slow Mag guys for making it happen. Knifehand played a real nice set, really enjoyed bouncing around like a maniac. Boo to the sound man for killing it so abruptly, but what can you do.

Got any photos boysies?
