Definitely the real deal! It wasn't in the main supermarket though, it was in the crap Londis behind the yacht club. The one that looks like a mash up between a corner shop and a branch of Argos circa 1987.

you should...i hated the stuff for about 10 yrs then somebody force fed me some at a party about 2 years ago...i've never looked back since THE ultimate party drink besides rum if u ask me!
