Would love to get a shot in one of those rooms!
Me and Meg where saying this will be a yearly thing for us from now on man. We loved every minute of it!
Don't book the bloody Prodigy, for fucks sake!!
MC's and REWIND's are a part of UK rave culture, so sod off!
Boards of Canada or Gas would be great headliners but maybe not suited to Bloc. So unless you can get AFX + Hecker again, Basical Channel to reform or Will Bevan to get on stage, then I reckon:
AUTECHRE (or PLASTIKMAN)
Surgeon + DJ Pete
Robert Hood (DJ'ing this time)
Mike Ink/Wolfgang Voigt LIVE or DJ set
LFO or Sweet Exorcist or Forgemasters
Pan Sonic
Mika Vanio DJ set
Omar S
Isolee
Goldie 'Metalheadz Blue Note Special'
Kode 9
Ramadanman
Spyro (for a bit of Grime action)
Oneman
Marcus Nasty (or Lil Silva)
El-b
EZ oldschool garage set
Marcel Dettman
DJ Stingray
DJ Skurge
Mantronix
Smith N Hack
Lawrence
Intergalactic Gary
Raster Noton Showcase

Yes I'm most definitely in agreement...please if you are looking for Sasha, Prodigy and Daft Punk go to fuckin' creamfields or some other load of shite...keep it leftfieldtinylebowski wrote:you can be sure the whole thing turns to shit when the likes of Prodigy and Daft Punk are booked.
Thats not to say i don't like them. They've done great things but belong on mainstream pop festivals these days IMO.
For me it was just as much fun hearing 2 bad mice, benga & skream dropping prodigy tunes. Jilted was played after aphex too. With the prodigy performing it will be nothing but a screaming bassfest ego-parade.
i say get:
autechre
luke vibert
d'arcangelo
plaid
bitstream
dom&roland
richie hawtin
amon tobin
to name a few.
