Bloc TV 2009

Post by ringing_ears »

Just a thread for people to post their fav moments from Bloc TV this year and to ask about titles etc.

I'd have to say my favourite was some Troma-esque film on Saturday afternoon starring "Mr. Freedom", an all-American superhero who basically f*cked up everything he came across.

OK- just did a 2 second Google search and found it:

We were cracking up to a film I just found out was called 'Nuts in May' about this self-righteous, middle-class couple, Keith and Candice-Maria, who go on a tenting holiday in Dorset....was 'king brilliant!

Can recommend this one for when chilling with your favorite cigarettes...

No, we only found one channel as well- but we didn't really try to find the other one to be fair.

I remember watching some quite chilled thing then all of a sudden it turned into screaming children, flashing evil faces and psychedelic gravestones. Must have completely flipped out some of the worse casualties. Sick bastards!

Was that the one with all the aphex music? think I saw that

Saw some Bruce Campbell and some Rodney Dangerfield too over the weekend, in with the gore and stuff.

Seeing sets from previous years when we got there on Friday afternoon was pretty good too

Tokyo Gore Police was fcking excellent!

Our favourite character was "Stitch-T!ts Croc-Vag", which became one of our friendly insults for the weekend!

Really enjoyed that video of the evil faces swarming in and out with all the screaming ver the top as well, totally freaked us out, hilarious!

Didn't appreciate that Wizard of Oz thing, or the Peewee Herman movie, they were just rank. More horror next time please!

Saw Exile's 07' set which reminded me of how fucked up he is live...love that bloke.

i was having a slight disco nap and was soothed by some nice music vids.... BoC followed by Clark. :D

We watched it for like 1/2 hour on the Friday night before we hit the stages but then couldn't find it again. Weird.

Saw a bonkers film at around 6am on Sunday night/Monday morning about a guy with glasses in some sketchy mad-max style desert town. Ends up pissing off this shamen-type dude so to settle their differences they break out into a guitar battle!

What a mind-meld. Anyone know what film this was?
