maybe the sunken ship is the treasure
Interesting!
But what a leap from Glassjaw who play seriously seriously hardcore metal. I remember seeing them at a show in London when they were showcasing their newly released lp "Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Silence". It was anything but silent.
I also seem to remember that was one of the closest moments I have come to dying in a mosh pit.
Good for that guy to picnic in pastures new however, look forward to hearing that project the el producto. Oh oh oh, and I saw a movie the other day, well more of a documentary by Martin Scorsese, all about the history of Blues.
It was one DVD from a series of seven and shows us Chuck D hooking up with an old record producer, the members from The Electric Mud band and the one and only Chicago emcee Common. They put down some deep funky bluesey psychadelic grooves. I'm not sure if they ever actually released the LP, but it sounded pretty chilled and pretty fresh. I recommend checking the movie if you get a chance, it really demonstrates how much of an influence the old blues guys had on modern day higgidy hip-hop.
