Had a quick look on the faq but couldn't find anything about it.
I take it as granted that it will be no smoking in the music venues but what about in the chalets? Presume not but worth a punt eh?

No Smoking everywhere including chalets. They're relatively plush inside see..

Just have to be a quick nip outside then. I don't like the 21st century

The 21st Century bites the big one as far as this is concerned. Long live the smoke-filled and poorly laid out chalets of Hemsby! (OK - I'm looking forward to Minehead too...but still.)

Guess it will be a case of sticking a sock on the smoke alarms then. Unless they've got CCTV in the chalets stopping smoking within some of them will be a near impossibility.

yeah i can't see it being enforced any more than the usual hotel 'smoking policy.' for some reason i can't imagine very many people standing outside their rooms smoking at stupid o'clock in the morning!
and another thing...have we ever been able to smoke in the chalets? i can vaguely remember tryin to put a sock over a smoke alarm at the first bloc...it didn't work, but it didn't matter anyway
