Aphex Twin

Sometimes people actually want to see old tracks by producer's they like played live - just because it hasn't been released in the last 12 months doesn't meen its not good.

OK - he made some brilliant music in the past, but he hasnt put anything genre bending or defining for a long time, there's much more exciting producers (and DJ's, for I assume this is just an Aphex DJ set from the lack of the word 'live' after his name on the lineup page) out there worthy of your attention and adoration. Joker for a start.

Sounds to me like, "If it's not dubstep, it's not cutting edge or worth giving any attention"

I'll say this - Richard D. James is electronica's Beethoven, or Mozart, or Lennon... There were always people saying "What's the big deal with Lennon?". The guys is extremely important, without him electronica would not have come this far. And he's not even my favourite producer - Mike Paradinas is. But in terms of importance within the world of electronica, AFX is king.

If you aren't a big fan of his music, fine, listen to something else. I think Beyonce had a new album out, my sister says it's great.
