We'd love to see some videos from last year's Bloc TV become available, either on DVD or even just web streams!

I heard the company supplying some of the stuff went under. SHame

I'm still looking to find out the name of some crazy Japanese action fantasy film with these big fighting birdmen things.

BlocTV is back - and bigger!

This year we have 2 channels. 2!

Any film makers out there who want their stuff shown, give us a shout.

Any ideas or suggestions, let us know

I'd like to say a big thankyou to the wonderful Tartan Films, a major contributor to last years schedule, which is tragically now defunct. Homeviewing is a sadder place without them.

BIG NEWS - The wonderful Mr BOB JAROC is in the process of putting together a showcase playlist for BlocTV! Expect a mindfucking selection of his own films and some of his favourites and maybe (just maybe) a little exclusive something.

More contributions from a selection of exciting mavericks of the film world are in the pipeline, as well as our usual selection of rare and weird stuff from around the world.

Now, to answer some questions:

The film with the man with swords for hands was Dororo, which I believe has had a UK release since last year so should be findable.

There will be plenty of footage from the last two years screened over the weekend for all you nostalgia freaks to watch and say "I was there y'know" - but if you can't wait that long check out our website, youtube, myspace.

Will Mr.T make an appearance?... that would be telling

Oooh! :D

I had a wicked idea just now for a suggestion, but in the time it took me to find this thread I forgot.

No it's ok, came back to me - Chugyeogja. Also known as The Chaser.

Depends on your feelings towards Korean thrillers....and if they'll be a bit much for some 'delicate' people :-k ;)

Could we have some fun 80's films too?

Ferris Bueller, Ghostbusters, Back To The Future etc

I'm all for fucked up Korean horrors, but it would be nice to have a balance.
