Travelling from Derby

Post by Kennyeph »

My buddy is doin the last minute job on this, he's lookin to flying into East Midlands Airport
Castle Donington in Derby, could anyone from that part of the country help in how to get to site from there, or is there just a train running in to Great Yarmouth straight from there?

Cheers

Kenny your mate will have a long journey! I just looked on national rail enquiries and he'd need to change twice and the journey will take around 4.5 hours  Looks like he'd be getting a bus from the airport into Derby, then a train to Norwich, then another to Great Yarmouth.

Think Kinder's idea is his best bet ;)

Aye I know, I think I'm just being spoilt - it'll take us something like 5 hours to drive there but I get to be the passenger all the way there and back :)

It's just the thought of 4.5 hours on various trains, lugging all your stuff, gives me the fear. Don't envy your journey either - where the hell are you travelling from to have such an epic one?!

You're right though, it will be worth it :D
