This looks great, but I'm already booked to be at Acid on Sea this weekend. Looks as though you'll have the good weather for it though.

friday night at NPUC just got even more interesting... THE BENT MOUSTACHE will be playing in the bar, though with a very different line-up to normal...

TBM are the dutch band fronted by AJAY SAGGAR (who used to be in the criminally-overlooked DONKEY back in the late 90s), and have just returned to europe after a 7-week tour of the states with SEBADOH. for NPUC, though, THE BENT MOUSTACHE becomes AJAY + DEAD MEADOW. one night only. in a tiny room.

all for no extra charge. bingo.

Is there prices for each night or do you have to have the £15 wristband?

haha, someone scribbled something similar on the giant poster at NAC... fyi:

dead meadow = balls-out psych riffs. from washington dc where they've been championed by fugazi etc. matador recs.

future of the left = ex-mclusky/jarcrew... bouncy, brutal indie-rock

randomnumber = leeds-based electronica (mu, catmobile etc)

emmy the great = best singer-songwriter in the uk

james yorkston = fife-based folkiness. beautiful songs on the domino label.

most of the rest represent the best that left-field norwich has to offer. some real hidden gems.

you can hear the headliners at www.myspace.com/mqprojects

hope that helps!

Nice I've just heard their new LP "Curses" and it sounds really good. I bet they're awesome live.
