Glade this year will be absolutely crawling with old bill and undercover/plain clothes. They have highlighted the drugs issue and will act properly over it this year - the main reason i am not going.

Lets be honest, last year was a joke..Shadow & Stuart Security were completely corrupt in terms of what they did to punters and the party enhancers they had on them.

Compared to 2005, 2006 was a shocker.

Sorry to spoil the excitement but you all should be aware of what could potentially happen. Police will be nicking dealers as well as punters..and people will be detained by Thames Valley Police.

If the police could do one good thing that would be to arrest anyone caught listening to psy-trance. Surely that is a more heinous crime than being caught with class A drugs!

It is a shame they feel necessary to police it to vigilently when from what I've seen there isn't a great deal of trouble. I think they key is to not blow mysterious smoke into groups of people and don't go racking lines up on the speakers in the arenas.

I don't think there will be any tent raiding going on.

I was just browsing the forums at gladtalk and stumbled across their FAQ. I hadn't really thought of it before but I suppose it makes sense.
The ban on smoking in public enclosed spaces comes into force in England on 1 July. Will this ban apply to the tents and other areas at Glade?

Organisers: Yes
Suppose there are still more than enough outdoor areas though ;)

James! Have you bought your ticket yet? The only ones available are on AAA's website. Bring on the Glade!
