I liked the usage of Einstein-Rosen Bridge on the adverts. I'm not really sure how much of a Chris Morris project though, I think he just co-wrote it.

Theme tune is brilliant: link

Very much looking forward to this. I had to double take when I heard snares on Channel 4, it's all good.

thankyou for this link.
the trailers look good.
I have been jerking off about this for ages- and now it's here on friday week.
cool.

ps the original tvgohome scripts are collected here as you probably know-

http://www.thegestalt.org/simon/cunt/

if anything- a show could never do justice to how acutely funny and depressing the written Cunts really are. But here's hoping...

3 sketches in TDT are world class.

When Peter O'Hanrahanrahan loses the news. 'Oh Peter, you've lost the news....'

When Peter O'Hanrahanrahan gets his facts wrong and Chris notices he's doodled a spider's web on his notes.

and

IT'S WAR!!!

Chris Morris is up there with any of my musical heroes. He's actually got more integrity than all of them put together. In fact- I think I might be in love. :?

you're not alone, you have to admire him for having done so much but having retained an almost unknown 'celebrity' status

how many was is peter, 35,000? are you sure you don't mean 3,500?

what did you think??? i thought it was pretty good for a sitcom. there were bits which made me piss my pants. i had to put up with several people like nathan at university, as i was sad enough to do a media degree.

i don't think it possible to top the likes of brass eye with a sitcom like this.
chris morris and the league of gentlemen should team up. actually that might get too silly.

"There's a new drug on the streets called CAKE.
The effects are devistating: one girl even puked up her fucking pelvis!"
Bernard Manning on Brass Eye.

Morris is a genius (well apart from Jam or whatever it was called)

Bring back "The Bureau"

Nathan Barley is pretty funny, but reminds me of my art school days a bit too much.

"Well fucking futile"

I thought it was pretty funny, some of the characters were hilairous but I did the bit when he went to the newspaper office got a bit too tedious after a while

yeah but it was a well trojan measure

anyone notice prefuse 73 and dm and jemini in the background, you've gotta love it just for the music

Yeah, I remember hearing Prefuse when Nathan was showing her around 'Trash Industries'; pretty lush choice.
sugarape is pretty much how I imagine the magazine VICE. I hope it's like that anyway. Really enjoyed the show and looking forward to the next one.

Let's just hope people don't start imitating and/or quoting the show to death, or maybe that's what Morris intended to expose the 'idiots'.

Oh and,

I didn't even bother to watch the TV version, but there is an album entitled BlueJam, which is on Warp records and absolute gold. Features beats from people like Amon Tobin.

For your maiden BlueJam experience I thoroughly recommend sitting in a pitch black room and listening to the whole thing from start to finish. I was forcibly subjected to this for my first listening and although I squirmed in discomfort at the time, I believe it made me a better man.
