Any word on what we can expect to be paying?

I think that this will be one of the aspects that will really make or break bloc. What does anyone else think?

Obviously we're all going for the music but if it's £4 a drink or more this year, I reckon that'll put a lot of people off. Nearby off licences at previous years went a huge way towards making partying affordable. Hopefully there'll be some sort of deals on!

Given that standard London prices are now over £4 a pint and this is a festival, I'll be shocked if beer is less than £4.50, on a par with sporting events in the capital.

I obviously hope it's substantially less, but I equally wouldn't be shocked if all we had access to were small bottles of lager for a fiver!

Yeah, London drink prices are ridiculous so there's no reason that this will be any different. But it would be bullshit to end up paying more for drink through the weekend than the price of the ticket itself. Still, I'm expecting the worst to be honest, just trying to be optimistic and also to voice on the forum what I've heard other people mention when talking about bloc.

was there for the opening festival last weekend. perfect space for BLOC! beers are £4, cider £4.50 or it's the other way round.
