“Jet of Blood” by Visceral Theatre @ The Garage, Norwich U.K.

January 17th and 18th 2005 8pm

too surreal to make sense of it, too short to get bored,
so random that there’s something for everyone.

“Jet of Blood” by Antonin Artaud was written during the surrealist movement. The fact that it is so short and that the stage directions are impossible to carry out means it is very rarely performed.

We are Visceral Theatre, a voluntary collective of performers and have taken on the challenge. We’ve abandoned scripts, our sanity and our dignity. The upside of this is that it means we can mix a radio show, a urinal, argentine tango, metal, rock and classical, street dance, contemporary dance, film and drama all together in one big pot of theatre-y goodness.

For more information email visceraltheatre@yahoo.co.uk. Tickets are available from the Theatre Royal Box Office either in person or by telephoning 01603 63 00 00. £4.50/£3.50 concessions.

I can't say no to this:
we can mix a radio show, a urinal, argentine tango, metal, rock and classical, street dance, contemporary dance, film and drama all together in one big pot of theatre-y goodness.
I'll try it out for sure.
