What type of ID should I bring?

Post by harryreddick »

Recently, a friend of mine who is going to Bloc had his passport stolen (blows my mind that people steal passports but hey) whilst out. Now, understandably, a lot of my group of Bloc-goers are quite wary about taking passports with us, especially as they cost so much to replace. Some of us have driving licenses but not everybody, but do you think a clipped (out of date) passport would be ok to use?

Thanks

I can't imagine it being out of date would be a problem providing you still semble the person in the photo. Don't trust me on this though...

According to the FAQ only the lead booker needs to bring "Photo ID which proves their name". I've not needed ID for anything else at Bloc in the past but then I've never had to prove my age ('cos I'm well old and have a big 'tache!) so it might be handy to have a note in the official Bloc FAQ for what to do if you are blessed with the youthful looks of Wee Jimmy Crankie and liable to be mistaken for a minor.
