Hosting Room 1: WHATEVER THE WEATHER >>>

THE HEARTLESS CREW – FONTI, MIGHTY MOE, BUSHKIN
Straight outta North London, The Heartless Crew have been tearing up bashments for the past decade. The UK Garage Godfathers bring pure energy to the stage and get the club bouncing like Vanessa Feltz on a trampoline. Heartless will be performing an hours set and will then join Whatever the Weather’s new resident ‘Drago’ on an exclusive 30min mashup of dubbed-out, skank-tastic party tracks.

RUCKSPIN (Ranking Records)
Alongside the likes of Pangaea and Jack Sparrow, Ruckspin forms part of the new wave of groundbreaking Dubstep producers from Leeds. He has also collaborated on tracks with the likes of The Foreign Beggars, Reso, and Virus Syndicate.

DRAGO (Whatever the Weather)
After slapping up Apollo Creed, Drago hung up his boxing gloves and turned his attentions to making beats. Transcending genres, Drago takes a ‘kitchen sink’ approach to his live sets, throwing in everything from Dubstep and Glitch to Bashment and Soul. One to watch for 2009! You can download a live mix of his from February 09 from the link below.

COMPUTER CONTROLLED (Sequence)
The driving force behind Manchester's techno scene, Computer Controlled has brought the likes of Vex’d, Surgeon, and Venetian Snares to this city. Renowned for his deep and insightful selection policy, expect to hear the freshest, up-tempo tracks from the broad spectrum of electronic music.

FRITZ TREASON (Whatever the Weather/ Hit n Run) -
While Rich Reason bakes flan with your sister, Fritz is in the garden-shed doing the nasty with your mother. Perhaps the only person alive that could mix Fidget House with Chinese Opera and still make it sound phat. Watch out for his forthcoming release on Black Acre Records!

BANE (Eastern Bloc) -
King of the Trailer Park, and master in the esoteric art of ‘Baaaaaaaam!’, Eastern Bloc’s very own Jim McBane drops it likes it hot.

CHUNKY (Whatever the Weather / Riot Jazz / Hit & Run) -
Fusing a hip-hop freestyle ethic with tribal rhythms and a Manchester accent, Chunky has quickly established himself as the host of choice in Manchester’s Dubstep scene. He also dances like a fookin badman which is a bonus.

Hosting Room 2: BASS CAMP >>>

DJINN (Bass Camp / Dubterrain.Net)
Manchester’s numero uno Dubstep Dona and now an official Bass Camp resident, Djinn is known for her water-tight mixing and impeccable selection policy. She goes back to back with Ken Evil for the very first time!

KEN EVIL (Ape / Unity Radio FM / Drum Music) -
He once had a foursome with three girls on his boat and didn’t pay a penny for it. In fact, one of the girls accidentally left their wallet containing £20 behind, with which Ken bought some vegetables. Dubstep sin carne, por favor.

UNBALANCED JACK (Broke Records/ Sourpuss)
This man seems to be able to seamlessly blend any genre with any other, as long as it’s got a phat beat and big bassline he’ll chuck it in the mix. He’s also a dab-hand at production, with his tunes getting played by the likes of The Prodigy, Mary Anne Hobbs and Ctrl Z.

INDRA (Hit n Run)
Making his Bass Camp debut, Indra has been causing a stir at some of Manchester’s best loved nights and never fails to destroy dancefloors with his selection of Dubstep bangers. Indra will singe-ya! (or something to that effect).

SIR ROBIN (Longshot / Drum Music)
With one of the largest and most eclectic record collections in Manchester, you can expect to hear a varied, meditative selection from the brave Sir Robin of Longshot.

SUBLIMINAL (Subsonik Records) -
With more juice than a Duracell Bunny, Subliminal (or Subz to his longstanding brethren) keeps a party bumpin’ where other hosts run out of steam. Just fill him up with Dubstep and off he goes!
