Well I hope ye aren't taking note for suggestions like Justice, Daft Punk and Crystal Castles and the likes. :D

I'd love to see some Dopplereffekt, Boards Of Canada, and get some David Vunk down for an italo larf too, a little bit more deep detroit techno would be nice too, Moodyman, Omar S, P. Scott etc.

Yes more electro!!!! Support for Novamen or Unit Moebius popping back or a Bunker showcase+ a detroit eve with DJ Bone, Omar S, DJ Q, Stingray... That'd be something!

Proper techno like Paul Birken, Makaton, Elektrabel, Adam X, Ancient Methods... Marcel Hesse, Pacou, Inigo Kennedy...

Sandwell district to warm up an early night... Scuba, T++, Pan(a)sonic...

Haha well a lot of good acts allready said!!!

Oh... and get Lustmord!

Of course, I'll agree that the famous artists/DJ's probably shouldn't appear for fear that mainstream crowds will come to Bloc... but I wouldn't mind seeing...

Boards of Canada
Ulrich Schnauss (again)
Altern8 (again)
Autechre
Luke Vibert
B12
Aphex Twin (again)
Public Enemy
Devo
Francois Kevorkian
Bjork
Daft Punk
Leftfield
LFO/Mark Bell
Beck
Kraftwerk
Massive Attack
THE ORB
The KLF (even just Jimmy Cauty performing a DJ set of KLF hits or something coz there's no chance Bill will opt for it)
Moby
Primal Scream
Orbital
Slam
Cassius
Basement Jaxx
Depeche Mode (even a DJ set would do coz Martin Gore likes to play minimal techno - that'd do me nicely)
LCD Soundsystem
The Prodigy
Front 242
Nitzer Ebb
Etienne de Crecy (wouldn't be able to fit his cube on the stages though!)
Portishead
The Knife
Jamiroquai

Some fairly substantial shopping lists appearing in this thread! Whatever formula you guys used to concoct the line-up for 2009, stick with it, but I do like a good session of no-nonsense thumping beats (Green Velvet this year was spot on) and I'd be putting on my special dancing shoes for any of these DJs:

Oscar Mulero (saw him at Sonar; danced like a man possessed)
Derrick Carter (never yet managed to catch the guy)
Satoshi Tomiie (understated genius)
James Zabiela (tell him to leave the Ibiza cheese at home and he'll do the business)

Also for the compulsory Sunday costume-party session, get Baggy from cosmicdisco.co.uk to come down and play some tunes. Why? Check this out:

Cheers, see you in 2010!
