Frijsfo Beats is proud to welcome on board a UK electronic music hero in Ed DMX , AKA DMX Krew . Ed offers a new kind of treat from the archives, fusing two-step swing and spacious dubstep rhythms with his immediately recognisable analogue style. The package also includes ‘Creole 2', an up-tempo ragga rhythm complete with shimmering electronic steel drums.

Fans will know Ed from prolific work on the Aphex Twin-founded Rephlex label. The ability to mutate a Detroit-esque electro sound into sick hybrid forms is something he's ably proven on releases like the ‘Collapse of the Wave Function' series.

The material on ‘2K3 Beats' dates from 2003-4, but now seems the right time for these atmospheric tracks to see the light of day. The demand for fresh takes on post-garage music (in the dubstep community and elsewhere) should see this EP readily picked up.

Oh right who's show was that? Test pressings arrived last week, hoping for it to be out in the shops by end of the month but could be start of February... Either way, as soon as I have them I'll be selling them directly on www.frijsfo.com so that's the first place they'll be... Can always email me a preorder too!

Glad to have your support on this one chaps :D

So it's £4 for one record and then £2 for delivery in the UK (plus 75p postage per vinyl after that). Is the price right? 8)
