Cylob has been releasing some neat stuff on his own label recently and I'm glad to see him making his return.

I don't know really know where to start in regard to people I'd like to see as I know the line-up will beat the ass of anything I could come up with. I'll throw some names out there though: Blotnik Brothers, Datassette, Kettel, Supermayer, seconding your Dynamix II check, Darxus, Modeselektor, Extrawelt...I could go on for a long time I think.

I'd be very suss about the tuss appearing there, it'll be another wind-up just like acid on sea. Where did this info come from? It certainly says nothing about the tuss on there web page http://www.iheartacid.com/

You can say that again! Cylobs recent projects on Cylob Industires are his best work to date i think. Formant Potaton is flipping awesome as too is trojan fader style. Bounds Green is a bit on the chilled side but still quality stuff and to say its 13 years old it definitely stands up to the test of time.

Yeah datasette would be cool, so would Mariel Ito, like you say the list could go on and on.

Tuss

James - where did you hear that The Tuss was playing I Love Acid? I've had a few people email / myspace / facebook message us asking about this but I don't know where the rumour originated.

I don't want people thinking we've started this as a wind-up.

oh, and Sho'Nuff - from what I hear, you won't be disappointed with the Bloc lineup ;-)

Originally posted in this thread by DannyBee. I assumed that he'd copied and pasted from an official source, but obviously not! Not meant to mislead anyone. Acid on Sea was great anyway, and I'm looking forward to I  Acid.

Sweet, very alluring. I really am in two minds whether just to take the plunge and get tickets now. I was going to wait and see what the line up is like but i know i'll be going anyway so i might as well just get them now.

Dynamix II are blatently going to be there. Infact hasn't Bloc been brought forward so it doesn't clash with the Miami winter music conference?

I'd love to see Pest again. They were an awesome first act last year. Also Silicon Scally in the Tec Bloc this year would be nice. apart from that....

Frank De Wulf
Karl Marx Stadt
LFO
Luke Vibert
Rob Hall
Jurassic 5
Blotnik Brothers
DJ Bone
Kevin Saunderson
Mark Archer (from Altern-8)
Transparent Sound
Andrew Wetherall

I'd like to see a more eclectic mix of music this time round. Maybe a bit of italo disco, perhaps a little more dub reggae. Some breakcore would be a good laugh in all.

a few names of the top of my head...............

legowelt, redshape, jahtari, suburban knight, aphex twin

OK first of all I cant believe people are already talking about Bloc 08. I have only just recovered from the last one.

Personally I hope that Richyawnard D James does not appear at the Bloc, or there are rumours of such. Although with Rephlex curating or whatever its doubtlessly going to happen. There's loads more exciting and current new and distinctive music happening in the UK at the moment, esp. grime & dubstep, lets have some more of that this year, and not at 3pm on a Sunday afternoon!

I reckon there'll be an enormous Irish posse heading over again for 2008.

Promoters, if you want a hand getting a bit of publicity over this side of the water, let us know, can help with leafleting, postering, putting ads in the music/listings papers, etc. March 17th (St Patrick's Day) is a public holiday over here so loads of people would be able to cane it hardcore and then collapse onto a flight from Norwich on the Monday without having to take an extra day off work.

I cant believe I'm considering going again. You have NO idea how tired I was after the last one.

Different strokes for different folks. A mixed bag is what I like.

Oh, and I'd love to see the Flashbulb/Acidwolf.
