Any dubstep to replace the Digital Mystikz?

Post by dublinstep »

They were one of the main reasons I was coming over for this.

Maybe someone like Kode9, Skream, Benga, Hatcha or N-Type to replace them?

Pretty please?

I'd love to see youngsta replace him, dub for dub mixed with the precision of a shaolin monk!

Also I reckon Dj Bossman for an instrumental 4x4 grime set in smash bloc would be an inspired piece of billing - best style about

Any of the above mentioned already, Youngsta or Headhunter too.. or maybe even El-B for that older, dark garage sound. But Skream would be top of my request line (ho ho ho...)

Skream would be decent but he's more of a producer than a dj (his sets can be pretty sloppy) and without a live show I still reckon youngstas the man for the job! you can contact him through the fwd agency. Failing that Kode 9 and the spaceape wouldn't disappoint.

DJ Distance or DJ Pinch would be a good choice IMO.

They've both signed to Planet Mu if that helps in anyway...

ah here now - there's enough representation from the electronica-slanted end of things, and vex'd are covering the live dubstep, so someone playing stuff with a bit more regular time sequences would be well appreciated..

kode9 would be really good. nice and techy.

most of the "bit more regular time sequences" bores the shit out of me

Kode9 definately. Pinch would also be awesome, but Kode9 wins it.

Does it have to be dubstep?
What about some braindance? Ovuca and D'Arcangelo are releasing new albums around March, would be sweet to see either of them. Or what about Cylob? His new live sets are wicked, Bogdan Raczynski? he's also got new material out soon, now that would be fucking ace!
Other than that I'd like to see-

The Doubtful Guest - her shit kick arse man
The Gasman
Milanese
Trobleshooter
The Bug
Search and Destroy
Voltek

Just to name a few
