mazdafarl, a man after my own heart. two essential and indeed immortal questions which can and should be applied to just about anything and everything.

Sadly, in this instance we will have to err on the side of caution and answer in the negative to both. I believe that it does cost a nominal amount to use the karts. Although no one here can remember how much, most things in Hemsby are cheap so don't worry, it won't break the bank.

My very patchy recollections of attempting to use the commando zip line at dedbeat tell me that they make cursory checks on your sobriety to ensure everyone's safety.

Can anyone else remember the rules for these holiday treats?

From http://www.pontins.com/centres/hemsby/action_pack.php:

"Charges: Action Pack activities are £5 for 5 sessions."
