It's underway.

Second match for English today, a win will secure them a place in the knock-out stages.

How have you enjoyed it so far?
Best match?
Best goal?
Who do you think is going to win?

This is the place to mull over everything oi oi saveloy, red crosses, hooligans, chants, beer and bulldogs.

To get in to the spirit of things here are some little ads that came through to me via e-mail. How lovely for the hosts...

This is very important, a friend at the department of health sent it to me could you please comply with it fully as it is a matter of national importance.

Her Majesty’s Government

Our Ref: 3692/f

Date: 02/06/2006

Subject: Changes

To whom it may concern,

Due to changes in the environment, and the way we look after our health these days (i.e. what we eat and how much exercise we take). The life expectancy of the average human has changed, and with these changes we have also noticed growth changes to the average person.

So to keep abreast of these changes we are doing a survey on penis sizes, we understand it would take up far too much time opening letters sent to us in response to this letter. So we are currently asking men who have a penis 3 inches of smaller to fly a white flag with a red cross on it from there car windows, and this will give us some idea on how many people are affected by the changes.

Thanks for your cooperation,

(Mr Ivor Bigone)

Haha.

I mistakenly read importance without the "r" the first time round. :v:

Does this mean if you have two flags on your car that you're around the 1.5 inches mark?

On topic: Argentina are opening a huge can of whoop-ass right now. Not a "Messi" performance at all.

Haha.

The defense last night was horrid from the corners. Lucky to scrape a draw, the closing minutes were pretty frantic.

Haw haw haw, you may also have seen from that series of pictures this little gem from the gaunt yet gallant Peter Crouch...

What a position - it almost resembles an under-legged spider trying to breakdance. Anyway, during the usual bombardment of chain e-mails, forwards and other assorted junk I came across a wee gem. Some folks on the Interweb with too much time on their hands have put this picture to use with some pleasing results.

Behold, Peter Crouch!

its also the perfect position for the isle of man flag.
i saw robert green in the supermarket yesterday. he looked piiiissed off, even ignoring a small child, who asked 'is your groin better?'.
