Glade is Back!!

Post by DannyBee »

So.. who got the email this morning? Apparently line-up is announced on Wednesday 15th March and tickets go on sale at 10pm on Thurssday 16th March. According the the mail I got if your not on the Glade mailing list you can't get tickets so get on it! I'm now off to figure out how I can blag some cash to get a ticket. Lineups sure to be awesome especially with no Glastonbury to have to organise as well.

Well something very odd has happened.

The "special link" sent to work for subscribers only works now for ANYBODY!

I just got order number 1416 and that was with 4 tixs so I guess as the capacity last year was 8,500 and this year rumoured to be a max of 10,000 then it's not going to be long before word gete's around and evereyone else get their ticket/it sells out.

Basically click here

https://www.gtickets.co.uk/gladefestival/

This is the link that was password protected till last night.

You can buy 5 tickets on it and it goes through HSBC and I have recieved an email from Glade to confirm it is all booked and done.

Lineup last year included:

Littlebig Tent
Chris Clark, Ceephax, Cylob, Cassetteboy & DJ Rubbish, The Bug (live) + MC's Ras B & Warrior Queen, Milanese, Plaid Disco Dub DJs, Ultre & Flat-e (live), Tomp, Zan Lyon (live), Tim Exile (live), DJs Buddy Peace & Zilla, Sirius (dj set), DJ Rob Hall, DJ Maddog, DJ Mr 6, Shitmatt (live), DJ Scotch Egg, Charlottefield (live), Chevron (live), Mully (live), Phil Collins 3 (live)

Main Dance Tent
Sasha, Richie Hawtin, Squarepusher, Two Lone Swordsmen, Carl Craig, Infusion, Dreadzone, Hexstatic, AFX (DJ), The Bays, Luke Vibert, Aphrodite & MC Sugar, System 7, Speedy J, Shpongle, Nodens Ictus, Sharam Jey, Tintin Chambers, Annarchy

If the lineup is even half that strong it will be awesome!!! (and that was 2 of the 8 "arenas"

Sorted out that tttriple post for you DannyBee, thanks for the heads up.

I think I have ordered a ticket for myself but I didn't have my credit card with me today so I had to guess my start date and expiry date. I'm crossing my fingers that it went through OK.

well...

According to a friend on the Glade forums when ringing up to cancel some of his tickets 40% percent of TOTAL allocation have already gone...

(Capacity is 12,000 apparently)

Unbelieveable! The lineup hasn't even been announced yet. I remember going to a festival in 98 and you could get tickets until about a month before.

What has happened??? Are touts and Ebay to blame?

don't think it'll be e-bay.

I'd heard they'd banned the sale of gig tickets on there due to too many people touting.
