Right, this might be a bit of a long list...

Headliners/legends
Autechre
Jeff Mills

Maybe not daft Punk, but what about a Tomas Bangalter old school set?
LFO

Radial
DJ Boss
Chris Liebing
Phil Keiran
Pacou
DNCN
Derailleur
Denis Rusnak
System 23
Monolake
Basic Channel

IDM/Electro:

Brothomstates!

I don't know if anyone will agree with me but I feel like Bloc needs a bit more DnB. For example I could do with some Spor or Telemetrik or even some liquidy stuff.

More dnb indeed. 2007 there was Noisia, Black Sun Empire, Tech Itch, etc.

More for 2010!

definately a new rosta of acts to keep the festival fresh; still no need to revisit the acts from Blocs 1-3

another vote for plastikman (not hawtin djing)
move d / moufang
jeff mills
garnier
air liquide
modell/hitchell
porn sword tobacco (good shout earlier)
DJ Stingray (awesome at Bleep recently)
Larry Heard
Steve Bug
Bjork
Daft Punk
Underworld (because its great for getting a good vibe)
Mike Ink was a good tip earlier

more "experimental "

Carsten Nicolai/Alva Noto
Mika Viaino
Ryoji Ikeda
Taylor Deupree
Sakamoto

a good ambient room is needed ......great to keep the party/vibe going through to lunchtime Sat/Sun for the comedown(s)

As much as I'd enjoy seeing Daft Punk and Underworld, Bloc isn't the right place for them - it would sell out much quicker meaning a lot of "Bloc people" couldn't go and you'd probably see more of a general festival type crowd there instead. Half the fun of Bloc is the fact everyone knows their decent electronic music beyond what gets played on Radio 1.

Also another name to add to the list, Yello. And whoever mentioned Yellow Magic Orchestra, good call - in fact why not have them both involved in a "Yellow:Bloc" stage...?

who's who of electronica

Most of the above / below esp Acid Junkies, Autechre and B12 oh and me of course.

Anyone to do with SCSI-AV

also Sysex, UR, Gordon Edge doing early stuff? definitely Black Dog oh yeh and Silver Bullet! Shut Up and Dance / Rum N Black, Zero Zero... sorry just reliving the early 90s / late 80s even

Agree that the likes of Bjork, Daft Punk etc while awesome, would maybe dilute the vibe

How about a Gabba shed out by the lake, just for shits and giggles?

Can't fault the approach so far. I'll leave it to the experts- the Bloc organisers.

But if I was to be pressed I would ask for a bit more spectacle / light & shade maybe:

live electro acts eg
Crystal Castles
Hearts Revolution
Ladytron
The Knife
Lali Puna
Midnight Juggernauts

Maybe some crowd pleasing electro eg
Justice
Rex the Dog

Plus possibly something more melodic or down tempo for the day time
Nathan Fake
Burial (!)
Plaid
Shadow

Returning heroes- Can we have D'Arcangelo, Global Goon, The Dexorcist, Bogdan, Knifehandchop back again please?

And more hiphop to keep my mates happy.

Can't say I missed the DnB much!
