depth charge showed me how to play pikmin on the gamecube at dedbeat. i rate him. i really liked radioactiveman's set. can't say much about the mixing, i didn't notice it being bad but i really liked the tunes he was playing. especially the ragga stuff at the start and the track at the end with the Wu Tang sample in it "roll that shit, light that shit...... smoke it"

transmission intercepted....
hear what you're saying johnny but beleive me -- kieth is a badman on the decks... he can mix it up whenever he likes.
he was playing with the echoes and all that on the djm5000 cos its fun. its gotta be said he also happens to be well good at doing all that.
you've also got to bear in mind that he played 140 electro, grime, breaks, dub reggae and 160 electrobass in 2 hours... it isn't possible to beat match all that gear anyway. mixing is just one way of making a DJ set flow but when you're playing such an eclectic set i don't really think it matters all that much
always worth voicing your opinions on these matters tho. my favourite was the dizzee rascal 'off to work' thing he played.
we'd all just like to say -- a massive thank you to all 400 of you for making a night at the Waterfront into a proper rave - we love you guys..
Great music, great atmosphere and massive thanks to first light/rebel lion for the superb sound.
We plan more Norwich club action at the end of the summer party season.
But for now, stand by for the big outdoor
WANG:BASELOGIC:FIRSTLIGHT:MOLTOV:TRUESOUNDS party on July 2nd. There will be multiple rigs, proper bar and a band stage.
O.U.T.

It's a weird one:
I've seen Radioactive Man about 4 or 5 times.
At Dedbeat I thought he was disappointing, same at Waterfront...
but whenever I've seen him play at an illegal, he's torn the place up!!
The tracks he played Firday were classic...maybe I was coming up too much for intermittent breaks...my loss I guess.
Thanks to the other dj's and lap-toppers: everyone elses set I loved!!
A bloody good night (even with the lack of bootybass )

Radioactive Man
Ed could'nt make it in the end, so I played the first set, glad you liked it, can't remember too much of Keiths set, expect the some of the begining...

At risk of everyone attacking me (please don't) I gotta say I thought Radioactive Man was a bit rubbish: using an echo unit to hide the lack of beat mixing is a bit shoddy and shows a lack of effort
...I really think Synapse, Yakimura and all the other dj's were wicked and showed the Lone Swordsman up a bit.
Like I said, that's only my opinion: I had a truley wicked night and was treated to some great music (amongst other things) I just think Radioactive needs to make a bit more of an effort. Was it Ed Chamberlin on at the start? I thought he was the best.
Hey Wang/ Basslogic: could you ever get Depth Charge/ Octagon Man?
I know he's from the same stable as RM and the guy ROCKS!
Anyone see him at Dedbeat? He looks like a football manager, but man, he knows how to rip it up.
Great vibes
great clientele
great music
Chamberlain was ace in particular
plus the laptop geezer with the beard
friday
4am
-------->
twisted
group inertia
boardgames at my house
garlic bread
GARLIC BREAD, Jerry?
Let's get, back together and
Do it again.
When their hair was soft and long when the beach was the place to go...
Best night in Norwich for ages.

i thought ed's set was absolutely fantastic as well. that chamberlain never fails to impress. eric you were a right state after about 12.00.
mr herod: thanks for your kind comments... we're trying to bring a bit of the wang vibe to the fine city, perhaps one of these days we'll get somewhere near it.
we certainly will be doing it again, probably going to wait til after the free party season for the next club event. however, the next baselogic/wang will be outdoors on july 2nd
the beardy bloke with the laptop was synapse: his first release is forthcoming on the baselogic label with a remix from one of the DJs that supported him...

Good job I was on at the start, would have ran away if I had to play at 12
I think anything is a risk in Norwich...
