ahah, luckily he did not need to. The score was good, the goals and play less convincing, but still it's the results that count.

Ahhh the France - Crotia game was a little strange. The coach for the Croats must have really given them a hiding at half time for them to come out and score 2 goals. After this you could see Zidane shouting at his team to get level and luckily they did.

A loss would have been very bad for them, but they are still on track.

well we can thank the referee for not having whistled a hand on the 2nd goal
it was not valid
they made 2 wack matches in fact, they didn't play well
fortunately switzerland is wack and will give us the opportunity to win
you should be careful for the next game vs croatia, they're still hopping

England remain victorious, (Rooney!).

Poor Italy, even their last minute goal couldn't save them from the double Scandinavian qualification.

Bring on Portugal I say, sad to knock the host country out of the tournament but someone has to do it.

Bring on Portugal. 2-1 England I reckon, Portugal to score first.

Very, unfortunately.
It was an epic match! England did well to claw back in extra time to force the penalty shoot-out, just a shame it didn't swing their way in the end.

I couldn't see much wrong with Campbell's goal (if anything he fouled his own team-mate Terry!), the keeper just seemed to fall over to me. No point in dwelling over what can't be changed but it's awfully anticlimactic.

edit: hehe, this found it's way to me

hehe, funny

in fact, the problem is terry's left arm on ricardo's shoulder
in england it would have never been a foul, but in Europe goalies are overprotected, if they're barely fondled the ref whistles straight away

it's a pity england lost, especially the Portuguese goalkeeper comes from the air, where england is very strong, and was scored by a wack player who plays on ... tottenham's bench, where he never scores, he only pass the watter bottles to his english teammates

anyway before the match I bet on a final france - sweden, thus sweden will defeat portugal in next round
