Latest news!
We've confirmed that the very brilliant New Zealanders that are ANTIX will be closing the Origin Stage with a special set as both ANTIX and as FIORD, their new super futuristic, techno tinged party sound. This has got to be heard to be believed.

From France, the mighty VITALIC will be on the Glade stage and JAMES MONRO will be there too.. The extraordinary STANTON WARRIORS are doing the Breaksday tent and then details on two of the stages we hadn't let on about we've now published.

The Chillout area has evolved... It's now the inSpiral Chill. With a new feel and look and with general goodness from those stalwarts of clean consciousness, the people behind the inSpiral Lounge in Camden along with a certain ALIJI, will be programming the music and performance to create a space where you will be able to relax, heal and recharge with an amazing organic cafe, beautiful decor and of course, as ever, the finest array of ambient and downtempo music you'l find in the UK.

And Sancho Panza... We mentioned that one of the days will be hosted by a guest promoter and the highly incorrect VERY VERY WRONG INDEED will bring the talents of MR C, MIKE MONDAY and TIM SHERIDAN to the Glade. Sancho Panza themselves will of course be there and JIMMY K-TEL and MATT BROWN will be joined by legendary San Fran DJ GARTH. And there's loads more bits to come...

So, don't delay. Get on board before you miss the party...

So Glade goers. Tell me all about it, I hear Jeff Mills ripped the house down but need some decent first hand accounts. Hit me!

It was indeed splendid yet again :D

Agree with the sound in Overkill - Remarc's set was far far too quiet :( Apart from that one time though it didn't really annoy me too much.

Autechre and Clark were immense, I got completely lost in Autechre's set and really didn't want it to end  Daedelus got me moving on the Sunday, he was fantastic and it's a shame more people didn't see him.

Jeff Mills was wicked, although I was pretty mashed by then so quite possibly would have danced to anything...I've seen a couple of videos on YouTube and he sounds as good as I remember him being. I missed a lot of Frequency 7 though which is a bit of an arse - I remember walking in, dancing for a bit, going out to the loo, then I'm not sure what happened

The weather was perfect, yeah so I needed my wellies on Friday night but it was still possible to sit down on a binbag and that's all that matters to me - 2007 was a nightmare for that. Saturday and Sunday were lush however :)

I did a lot more wandering this year, still didn't stay longer than ten mins at the Origin stage though, and still studiously managed to avoid Sancho Panza

All in all one of my favourites, although probably not my best ever - there's too many good things from them all to choose just one, but 2005 is still pretty damn special to me as it was my first one. The lower capacity was fantastic, but I daresay not for Glade, just hope the slow ticket sales don't have ramifications for future Glades. But yeah, for us it was ace as there was a lot more space in the campsite and the bars/tents never felt too rammed. Security too, they were a lot better this year, really friendly and nowhere near like they've been in the past.

Aargh I want to be back there already :( :D
