FLASHBULB! That would rule! I don't think he has ever played in the UK. Awesome producer of music!

Please not more dubstep though. It gets so boring so quickly.

And what's worse is that most of it so damn cheesey and ironically serious - a bad combo. A bit like drum n bass in that effect. In terms of dubstep I've only ever heard a few select tunes by DMZ and Skream that I've particularly liked. Although its not so bad and much more interesting when folk like surgeon mix some grimey sounds into their techno sets. Pure dubstep is just too womp wompy in sound....

just got our chalet booked and we're really excited. i'd like to second the request of having the mighty silicon scally in the big room.

i think i posted this request after the 2007 weekend but just so it's fresh in people's memories, can we please have paul blackford on about 5 hours earlier. i'm not really into staying up all night and getting up at 6am to see him was a bit weird, not to mention the reanimated corpses i had to share the dancefloor with!

i'd love to see some more fast electro. decal would be amazing.

He could be playing under his real name Alexsi Perala nowadays since the release of his most recent album 'Project V'. Man that's a good LP.

I agree that too much of anything gets a bit much, but there are definitely some interesting sounds about. New Burial LP drops soon and I'm looking forward to hearing that.

The two 12" releases from "2562" on Tectonic have been a decent listen. It's apparently tech/dub/hypestep according to whoever invents all these new genres. All aboard the hype ship! On top of that is a 12" from the same guy under the alias "A Made Up Sound", but I haven't checked that out yet.

on the subject of uptempo stuff, fullspectrum would be good too, he's from that part of the world isn't he?

Only one mention so far for both Manasyt & Imatran Voima ?!

Sheeesh Kebab!

Manasyt currently slayin shit with his ruff electro and Imatram Voima....have they EVER played in this country?! They deliver a frickin great live show and their genre crossing brand of electro/techno is frickin greeeeat! Lively, funny, rooted in the old school but striving forward.

We have 1 part of DynamixII..why not, seen as we've had a real appreciation for bass orientated music (jungle aside) in the UK for ages now, have a true miami bass session with Exzact & Debonaire's new head to head live set and maybe jeckyl and hyde for the bass ravers. these guys never get enough 'appearence' love in the UK !!!!

Also...i wana see Kronos Device again coz they proper slayed everyone last year!

See ya down t' front!

hell yeah..why not?...FRONT 242!!!!!!

I also heard that Man Parrish is proper ITCHING to get away from the NY scene and spread his wings again, play some bangin techno and some of his, lets face it. CLASSIC electro!

TBH the line is pretty much as good as it is going to be.
Though I do feel that we are slightly missing a booty presence.
DJ Funk or DJ Godfather would have topped it off,but with all the people that are playing there is no room for complaint.

Flashbulb is a GREAT live act. He and Richard Devine played back to back. There wasn't much dancing, but many dropped jaws, screams, and jumping for joy. ;)
