I've already had my go on this thread, but I was talking to my mate yesterday and I am duty bound to pass on his thoughts.
His thoughts were concerning hip-hop, generally 'more of it, please' and specifically he was saying Melle Melle & the Furious 5 & Grandmaster Flash were fantastic recently at the Jazz Cafe in London.

Duties fulfilled and all contracts duly executed.

I don't think hip hop is a good idea. I saw Grandmaster Flash last year and he was pish.

I hear Bloc have booked En Vogue, and a special Destinys Child original line-up reform is in the works!

I heard that too. Also JLS are curating one of the stages.

@Brocolli - Some great ideas there. Let's hope next week's lineup announcement offers something more substantial :D

Yeah, this first announcement disappointed me a little, hope that the second one will be more interesting.

Yep, after banging on about how great the Bloc lineups are to people, I was somewhat bemused to see Salt N Pepa as top of the bill (not that I won't enjoy them), with Dynamite and Wiley in toe on the first announcement (although I probably won't enjoy them). I was secretly hoping for a Leftfield/LFO/Public Enemy type of surprise.

Still - early days yet, variety is the spice of life, plus the fact I'm an old miserable c :assshaking: nt! ;) ;)

I'd like to see Wu-tang, or at least some members from it. That'd be fucking sick bean.

Fuck me. The announcement of Autechre, Grandmaster Flash, Joker, Skream b2b Benga and Roots Manuva not good enough for some people as a first inclusion.

I mean, what the fuck?
