so the rumours i heard were true,model 500!......massive selection bloc =D

"The mighty BLOC festival has announced another impressive headliner for their fourth annual event this March: Juan Atkins and "Mad" Mike Banks, playing live as Model 500.

The techno pioneers will play on Saturday night, taking a headlining spot on the main stage. They'll join an already massive lineup, featuring the likes of Autechre, Skream,Lindstrom, Joris Voorn, Joker and dozens more. Aside from Banks and Atkins, the steely sounds of Detroit will be represented by DJs like Omar-S and Derrick May, the latter of whom will play the festival's closing set. The event will mark Model 500's first live performance since last August, and will be the group's first UK show since their 2008 appearance at fabric."

That´s the best announcement for me, THANK YOU BLOC. Another year with the best line up, i will repeat in 2011 for sure.

Quick question as a Bloc virgin who is desperate to come but very low on funds (and possibly a bit dim) .... the lineup - are the artists/djs under 'showcase' (joy orbison etc) actually playing in person? I assumed not as they weren't under the main lineup bit, but perhaps they are .... if so, I think my decision will definitely be made!

Yes of course, they will be appearing in person as a part of those showcases

We just publish some highlights at the top of the lineup above all of the showcases as well.
