This night may not be your thing, but it is the first band playing over here as organised by the Norfolk & Norwich Novi Sad Music Group, which hopes to connect people in both countries with music of all styles for future exchanges. NEW WALKING TRIO

New Walking Trio is a result of collaboration of Modern Quartet producers teaming with some of the best Serbian studio musicians. It grew up from a completely sampled based nu jazz music to a live mix of ethno, jazz and broken beat. Although, they come from south-east Europe (Novi Sad, Serbia) their music inspiration does not ends up there.

The Neutrinos make songs that crackle and spit like raw electricity. Let's roll in the dirt- it's great dirt, let's get ugly, it's more exciting. SMALLER THAN YOU

Smaller Than You are a six-piece Norwich ska band and they're all 15. They are playing gigs regularly in the region and recorded at EP at Purple Studios at the start of the year. You can hear the tracks on their Myspace site.

RORY McVICAR

Norwich singer-songwriter Rory McVicar played at the Exit festival in Novi Sad this year. He also played Latitude festival in Suffolk. Paul from Taxi, the chilled-out lounge band that supplied the music for a Ferrero Roche advert (but not the 'Ambassador' one), and One Eclectic DJ, who played at rave events in his younger days but now writes music for dance companies.
