Maybe not but it's better to do something this summer than compare it to an event that doesn't run anymore/at the moment.

Also just so you know tickets for Glade have stopped on the link till 10pm tomorrow but you can go here

http://www.accessallareas.org/main.html

and get some.

Don't know if anyone cares. Might be worth waiting til after 6pm when the lineup is due to go up on the net.

Better be some phat people playing as I have my tixs already.

Well.....

Would you Adam and Eve it... They are keeping it Schtum on the lineup and location.

I am trusting it as I get the feeling it is going to be something special but I am obviously biassed (I have tickets already)

I think everyone should try and fake book their favourite artists when Glade is on so we can check if they are playing or not.. heh

Yeah but I'm not paying 100 odd quid when I don't even know who's playing.

Plus dedbeat was like a musical orgasm of a weekend, with both great hip hop and electronica, instead of one wicked tent and a load of wanky psytrance.

Latest news from the Glade site/newsletter:
We thought you might like to know that the Glade Festival is very nearly a sell out this year. If you haven't bought your tickets yet, then please get on it now!

G Tickets, who's selling the bulk to this years event has sold out.

However, Access All Areas, who've been working with us since the beginning, have some left. They're available from www.accessallareas.org.
Still a chance to come along if you're not sorted yet.

Well thanks to the people over at http://gladetalk.org.uk we have some line up information. I am copying and pasting this from there so do go over and check out the site for the latest Glade information.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just thought it would be a good idea to have a single post to recap on the current state of rumours and grade them. It'll be updated by mods as and when new info comes in.

We're trying to keep this list as reliable as possible, so we're not going to say anyone is confirmed on this list until Glade Festival itself announces them or the artist confirms themselves in public, e.g. on their website or in an interview. Strong rumour can mean anything ranging from a tip-off by the act's manager or record company to the artist confirming themselves in private to someone we know. A plain rumour will be something that's been spotted on other sites (but which we have not yet been able to verify ourselves) or other such hearsay - this green section should largely be taken with a pinch of salt at this stage, but then again who knows?

But bear in mind that these things are in a state of flux and there will obviously be changes between now and the final line-up announcement. And even after that there may be changes. So, with those get-out clauses in mind, the story so far is...

Still haven't got your Glade ticket? Seen the line-up and really fancy going? Well you're in luck! Those kind people at Glade are giving you a last chance to grab one, but you'll need to be hot on the trigger (well mouse button anyway).
Glade wrote:Alright there?!

We've held some tickets back again this year... A few hundred last remaining tickets will be available from midday (GMT) on Thursday, 1st June from http://www.gtickets.co.uk/gladefestival

We do expect these last ones to go very fast so please have your mouse at the ready!

If you miss this opportunity then we also need volunteers for litter picking and for stewarding...

If interested in litter picking for us then please email Feidhlim Bryan at feidhlimandtara@hotmail.com

You'll get an email back from him explaining how it works, but basically you'll be required to pay a deposit, work a few shifts and then when you've done your bit you'll get your deposit back...

Oxfam are supplying stewards again this year... They're almost fully staffed but if interested then please check http://www.oxfam.org.uk/what_you_can_do ... /glade.htm

Marvellous! Can't wait... Is less than 2 months away...

Big love and that
