Would be great to book more classic rave acts (as opposed to purely classic hip-hop) for the oldskoolers next time round:

LFO, Frank Dewulf, Nebula II, Human Resource, T99, Outlander, N-Joi (playing their older stuff), etc.

Bloc #3 had a selection of oldskool in the form of 2 Bad Mice, 4 Hero, Altern 8 and AGT - but #4 seemed a little lacking in terms of rave action with the exception of AGT.

As a separate point, more proper (but non-cheesy) party sets are definitely needed - the comment about Ben Sims and Tyree smashing it up at Bloc #2 mentioned previously is spot on. Such sets work tremendously well because both the heads and general party animals love them.

The dubstep, crack house, and other new underground genres can still be part of Bloc, but I hope Bloc stays clear of booking Radio One artists that can be seen at more mainstream festivals. I'll go to Bestival for that thanks. :)

I've been listening to a few Don Rimini mixes lately and thinking I'd really like to see him live. I'm also putting in my vote for Oscar Mulero and Deadmau5 if either of them are possible. Luke Slater was probably the most banging I saw this year so more of that please!

Another yes please to Daedelus from me, he's ace :)

I had loads of great ideas a few weeks ago but have conveniently forgotten all of them  I'll be back at some point when my old brain kicks in again!
