Speakers for chalet
Was just wondering if you are allowed to take down a set of speakers for in the chalet? We are thinking of taking the laptop down with Traktor DJ on it, a mixer and obviously speakers.

Yo,
Gotta make this clear -
Those of you who have attended BLOC 07 and 08 will remember how strict we have to be about loud music in chalets...
Our stages are fully sound proofed but the holiday apartments, of course, are not. So the chalets are actually more likely to cause a noise complaint from local residents than the festival itself.
Obviously noise complaints are very bad news because they threaten the festival's license and could mean that everything on stage has to be turned down
So, while its fine for you to listen to music throught the TV or on small hifis, we have a blanket ban on any PA equipment being brought on site - it's really important that everyone follows this in the interests of protecting the festival and its new home at Butlins.
There is plenty of loud music going on all weekend on the stages so you won't be missing out.
THANKS, PEACE, LOVE ETC.
