I saw that the following are playing at the weekender...
John Frusciante (Legendary guitarist of the RHCP) & Aaron Funk (Venetian Snares) join forces for the 1st time to bring us a live 303 & 808 analogue show as SPEED DEALER MOMS.
What a strange yet interesting mix of musicians.

Looks as though they have a myspace but no beats on it.

Anyone heard anything from this collaboration?

don't think its a wind up, john frusciante was a paying crowd member for the Bangface Weekender last year as people spotted him in the crowd and apparently he's a huge Squarepusher/AFX/Venetian Snares etc etc fan so think its true, is a very interesting proposition, could be mindblowing but could also be mindmeltingly woeful....watch this space...

i would love to see that!

i saw venetian snares in may and it was really good. I was tempted by Bangface this year but Bloc just outdid bangface by miles with the line up and venue.

bloc and bangface are both well thought out festivals with sick line ups,
although i completely get what people are saying about the whole "rise of the idiots" and people changing their life just because they saw something on skins but the people who actually enjoy the music will always stand out
in the end bloc and bang face are just using marketing techniques but still
THE MUSIC
urgh cant wait

Sickness!!!!!

Bring on the fun. Done both Bloc and Bang Face last year and even tho BF was far too much breakcore for me i'm hoping to make it to both again cause it was all just too much fun.

Must say i think if BF had had the same weather as Bloc did i prob wouldn't be so excited for it tho. Defo have many good memories of sunny beach and chalet parties which made it!

Bangface is fantastic. I've never seen any 'teens' there, who gives a shit what anyone else is wearing just love the tunes, dance your ass off and enjoy the friendly crowd. I fell in love with bangface at Glade, as I like a mixture, I can't listen to 1 type of music all night. If you have a short attention span and crazy legs then this one is for you. :P
