SPEARFISH present EUROCULTURED 2011

Bank Holiday – May 29th and 30th!!!

Spearfish are proud to present the 8th installment of the Eurocultured Street Festival in Manchester.

In 2010, 18,000 people attended Eurocultured to celebrate the diversity of European culture in all its forms. Acts perform in the street, in car parks, on stages, under tunnels and railway arches as well as in venues on the festival site. Most of the site is covered, so whatever the weather, it’s going to be a special couple of days!

For an idea of what the festival is like, watch the Eurocultured 2010 video here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lmx9ItFoNkM

ENTERTAINMENT

So much to choose from, including soul, folk, jungle, rock, hip hop, synth pop, dancehall, electro, IDM, funk, disco and much, much more…

Balkan Beat Box – Straight out of Israel and New York City, these nutty fusioneers blend together dancehall, hip hop and world music grooves for non stop party action.
Slagsmålsklubben – Firm favourites of Bjork, these colourful Swedes throw down some vibrant electronic synth-pop guaranteed to send the dancefloor into a frenzy.
Chrome Hoof – A progressive, futuristic and psychedelic experimental orchestra hailing from the Big Smoke.
Django Django - Psychedelic art pop at its brilliant best.
Tippa Irie – British reggae legend and collaborator with The Bug and The Black Eyed Peas.
Matthias Tanzmann – Deep house from the Circoloco Ibiza resident.
David Thomas Broughton - A London-based folk singer and guitarist, who creates the sound of a large ensemble by sampling himself singing, playing acoustic guitar, and making an assortment of other sounds through a Boss loop pedal.
Dorian Concept - Austrian electronic jazz/ funk/ hip-hop producer and Flying Lotus collaborator.

Also featuring… Icicle, Marcus Intalex, Graeme Park and Aardvarck amongst others!
